The Crisis Studies Initiative is an interdisciplinary research initiative at the University of Virginia, supported by the Dean’s Strategic Fund in the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences as an area of research excellence. The Initiative brings together scholars across disciplines to advance the study of crises—how they form, spread, are experienced, and are governed.
